Paris subway network is offered
as a metaphor of the multiple
daily routes going all over
our contemporary public space. Alienated routes of loneliness trapped in the loop of our
familiar fluxes.
One series is the result of
a one-session trip along all the 14 lines, changing 13 times, once at each connection. The other has been shot during a round-trip sitting in a car of the metro line 2.
Our daily fluxes fit in a mental topographical framework which adapts to the logic of the public infrastructures.
On the contrary, our consciousness takes a break while we ritually execute our routine fluxes: it improvises and wanders through its peculiar deconstructed flow of ideas, feelings and fascinations.
